This tiny site is dedicated to all things writing. Over the years it has gone from being a simple writing practice tool, to a kind of archive of some of my personal creative writing projects. The earliest stories are still important to me, even though they may lack quality or sense in form and content. Either way, they are meant to be read as they were written, with joy and appreciation for the writing process itself. I have learned much from these experiments, and hope to continue them as the years go on so that one day I can look back and indulge in perusing what I once thought was good writing. Sometimes a blog, and sometimes a scratchpad that gets saved, this site exists somewhere between the private spaces of a writer and the unpublished.
I started this site back in 2012, while in my undergraduate program, with zero knowledge of how to build a site, and more of a vague idea than an actual plan, went through so many iterations of design and eventually went for a minimalistic approach. The process was an amazing learning adventure with web technologies and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to build out a space for their thoughts.
Does it really matter what you do or don't know about myself or what this website is all about? Or can you read the articles, follow the tutorials and reveiws to figure that out for yourself? At the end of the day, this website exists to help people feel like they can get better at writing. Yes, you can improve your writing skills. One word at a time.
